NextPixel Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the eSign PDF Documents application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
NextPixel Apps LLP ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Sign mobile application ("Sign," the "App") for iPhone and iPad. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Sign is built with a privacy-first approach: your documents and signatures are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
By using Sign, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
When you use Sign, the App processes:
PDF documents, scanned documents, and images you import
Signatures you create (drawn with your finger or Apple Pencil, typed with fonts, or captured via camera)
Document metadata (file name, signing date, modification history)
Storage: All of this data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to your documents or signatures at any time.
Sharing: Documents leave your device only when you actively export them using the share function (e.g., via email, AirDrop, Messages, or saving to the Files app).
If you purchase a premium subscription, the following is processed:
Subscription status (active, expired, cancelled, in trial)
Purchase receipts and restoration history
An anonymous user identifier used to manage your premium entitlement
Payment processing: All payment information is handled by Apple. We never receive or store your credit card details, bank information, or billing address.
Subscription management: We use RevenueCat as our subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase events to verify and restore your subscription across devices. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how Sign is used and improve the App. This includes:
App opens, session duration, screens viewed
Feature usage events (e.g., "document signed," "signature created")
Device type, iOS version, App version, device language, country
An anonymous installation identifier (Firebase Instance ID)
This data is aggregated and pseudonymous. It is not linked to your real-world identity, and it does not include the contents of any document or signature.
You can opt out of analytics in the App's Settings.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes. When the App crashes, we collect:
Crash logs and stack traces
Device model, iOS version, App version
Device state at the time of the crash (memory, disk, orientation)
An anonymous installation identifier
We never receive document content, signature images, or personally identifying information through crash reports.
Sign requests access to:
Camera: used to scan paper documents and capture handwritten signatures
Photo Library: used to import images you select for signing
All camera and photo processing happens on your device. No photos or scans are uploaded to our servers or any third party.
You can grant or revoke these permissions in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security.
If you use the AI summary feature, document text is processed by on-device Apple Intelligence. Per Apple's design, this processing happens locally on your device and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. No document content is transmitted to NextPixel Apps LLP or any third-party AI service.
Voice commands for Siri Shortcuts are processed by Apple's Siri service and governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive, record, or store any voice data.
For clarity, Sign does not collect:
Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
The content of any document you sign
Your contacts, calendar, or location
Browsing history outside the App
Biometric data (Face ID and Touch ID are handled entirely by iOS)
We use the limited data we collect to:
Operate and maintain the App's core features
Verify and restore your premium subscription
Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs
Understand which features are used and improve the product
Send you notifications you have consented to
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your data is:
Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to provide the App's features and manage your subscription
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for analytics, crash reporting, and product improvement — limited to anonymous or pseudonymous data
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for push notifications and any future marketing communications

Subscription data: stored on RevenueCat's secure infrastructure (encrypted in transit and at rest)
Analytics data: stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (encrypted in transit and at rest)
We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying affected users in the event of a data breach as required by law.
